Product Marketing Director

We’re looking for a person with experience in metrology and a history of positioning and launching new products successfully. You’ll be called on to analyze competitive and product positioning, as well as existing and targeted new areas. Working with the sales and marketing communications teams, you’ll position products for growth and ensuring content for new offerings are completed in a product life cycle phase program, shepherding preliminary placements of new products for customer evaluation. You’ll provide insights to improve advertising, trade shows and sales materials by comparing them to your understanding of the target customers’ needs and expectations. And you’ll help determine product pricing and margin rates.

Electrical Engineering Intern

This intern position provides strategic and tactical support to mid-level employees. The student will contribute to routine engineering work requiring the application of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria in carrying out a variety of electrical engineering tasks. The student will work on discipline-focused projects and tasks to enhance their collegiate learning experience, while providing meaningful contributions to the 4D Technology Electrical Engineering Team.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the preparation and execution of key electrical engineering tasks at 4D
• Provide technical support to engineers, as needed
• Work experience will include, preparation of cable drawings, embedded C programming and engineering support for production.
• Provide input on project processes, strategies, and execution.

Qualifications

Basic Requirements

• Enrolled in an Electrical Engineering Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree program, at an accredited university
• Completion of Circuits I and II
• GPA of 3.5, or higher 
• Knowledge of embedded C programming, XML, JSON, JSON-RPC and javascript. Preferred Requirements
• Currently a 3rd year student or higher
• Knowledge of ARM microprocessor processor architecture and HTML5.
